STORM CORROSION is the long-discussed and highly anticipated collaboration between two multi-talented artists : Mikael Åkerfeldt of OPETH and PORCUPINE TREE's Steven Wilson. KILLING JOKE will release its new album, "2012", on April 2d via Spinefarm Records. The effort will be released in CD hardcopy and digital formats. It will also be made available on double colored gatefold vinyl. To celebrate the album's release, KILLING JOKE is streaming the track "Rapture" as a taster (see below).

The first recordings from the much anticipated 8th studio LP from ELECTRIC WIZARD will be released as a vinyl only 7" on March 31st at their forthcoming London Forum show. It will be the first of a number of vinyl-only-releases set to promote the, as-yet, untitled and unfinished LP. The A-side will be titled "Legalise Drugs and Murder" and the B-side, "Murder and Madness".

The band of Brian "Head" Welch (ex-KORN) will no longer be touring under this name. Its new name is now LOVE & DEATH. They said : "The name LOVE & DEATH symbolizes everything we've been through as a band over the last few years". The band will release a new single and video for the song "Chemicals" on April 24th.

Guitarist Slash is currently in Los Angeles putting the finishing touches on his second solo album. The as-yet-untitled disc is due to be released on May 22 via SLASH’s own label Dik Hayd International distributed through EMI in USA and Roadrunner in Europe.
