JACK WHITE (THE WHITE STRIPES), DEPECHE MODE and PATTI SMITH are among the artists on a forthcoming tribute album honoring the 20th anniversary of U2’s "Achtung Baby", frontman Bono announced at a press conference this afternoon for the U2 documentary From the Sky Down at the Toronto International Film Festival. The disc will be out on November.

According to the Los Angeles Times, ALICE COOPER will make a cameo in TIM BURTON's new vampire film, "Dark Shadows". The latter was originally a gothic soap opera aired on the ABC television network from June 1966 to April 1971. The film stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green and Helena Bonham Carter and is scheduled to reach theaters in May 2012.

ORANGE GOBLIN will release its brand new studio album, "A Eulogy For The Damned", on February 13 via Candlelight Records. The ten-track offering was recorded at The Animal Farm studio in South London, produced and engineered by Jamie Dodd and mastered by engineer Andy Jackson at Tube Mastering.

ELECTRIC WIZARD members have announced that they have begun writing new material for what will become the band's next album, their first since last year's "Black Masses". A two-tracks EP will be released prior to the album at the forthcoming London Forum show on March 31st.

RAMMSTEIN will release a new single and videoclip for the song 'Mein Land' on November 11th for german-speaking countries and on the 14th for the rest of the world. It will include remixes of the song 'Vergiss Uns Nicht' by BOSSHOSS and MOGWAI. RAMMSTEIN's best-of will be released on December the 6th.
